Once Angry, Now Debt Free

"...Frankly, I was actually angry when I first heard that my wife had signed us up for your program. Being the extremely cynical guy that I am, I was absolutely sure that she had just signed our financial death warrant. At that time, to tell you the truth, things couldn't have been worse for us: frequent calls from collection agencies, maxed-out credit cards and a home equity loan that was becoming more and more difficult to pay. My wife figured it was this or bankruptcy, which isn't exactly the best set of choices in the world.

Well, once I understood what ADC does, and realized that I would actually be saving on not only interest rates, but the principle, too, I calmed down. And when the collection calls stopped, I accepted the fact that your services were working for us. At the time, I didn't tell my wife, but I was really pleased to get my mind off of our constant financial troubles.

At any rate, I have to tell you that I am now a huge fan of your company. Granted, if you would have told me two years ago that you could take our debts and create a plan to pay them down in less than two years, I never would've believed you. In fact, I'm still shocked that we are truly out of debt. But, it is true, and I can finally start thinking about the future.

So I'd like to thank everyone at Abbot Debt Consolidation for doing such a great job. But special thanks go out to Dawn, our counselor. She kept us updated on how our payments were coming and helped guide us all the way through what really could have been a lot of confusion. She was professional in all her dealings with us, and really helped to keep our heads on straight when times were at there toughest.

Again, thank you for your unbelievable help. This month we will officially be debt free, and we really couldn't have done it without ADC.

Definitely Worth Trying

"...About three years ago, I was in a situation that required some pretty drastic action. I had begun to receive harassing phone calls daily from my creditors, this while the minimum payments on my credit cards began to become a real burden for me. Fortunately for me, my neighbor told me about your company. I called, and was really surprised at how friendly your customer service people were, and decided your program was worth a try.

Now, after three years, I am finally debt free. I am buying my first home this month, and I wanted to express my gratitude to those who made it all possible. I would like to thank James, my counselor, for giving me hope when I was at my lowest, and helping me create a workable budget to pay down my credit cards. It wasn't as easy paying the debt down as it was building it up, but it was a goal worth achieving. Thanks ADC.

Hindsight is 20-20

"...I guess hindsight is 20-20, but I realize now that my own unwillingness to get help made my financial problems worse with each passing month. It really hits the ego pretty hard when you realize you may be over your head, and I guess I was just stubborn. Thankfully my brother pushed me into calling you guys. I have to say, this is one of the rare occasions where a phone call can truly save your life.

At first, I have to admit I had some pretty big reservations about turning my credit problems over to your company to handle, but by the time the third month rolled around, I realized things were happening. For once, I could see progress on my bills! To top it off, the interest rate and principle cuts you guys negotiated for me was surprising to say the least. This is one case where I'm proud to say I relied on true professionals for help.

I would like to thank everyone at Abbot for their help, but especially Maria, who made me feel pretty at ease considering how bad things had become. You guys did a phenomenal job! I never would have thought I'd get out of debt in 18 months, much less 18 years, but the people at Abbot really came through. Keep up the great work!
